• Small Grant Funding for the Manufacturing Sector for Innovation in Heating and Cooling, Zero Emissions Mobility and Hydrogen

    With COP26 just around the corner, CeeD is partnering with the Energy Technology Partnership (ETP) to help reach out to the manufacturing community in Scotland and address some of the major challenges transitioning towards a net-zero economy. ETP is funding up to £10,000 to the manufacturing sector. This grant funding is made available from the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Fund.

    The ETP is seeking applications from Scottish SMEs and non-Scottish SMEs who have an autonomous base in Scotland for small projects of 3-6 months duration in the following areas:

    •    Heating and cooling technologies
    •    Hydrogen
    •    Zero-emissions mobility

    An event has also been scheduled for Wednesday 20th October at 10am. This event will be delivered online through MS-Teams and joining instructions will be issued a few days before the event.

  • MSIP Demonstrator and Showcase Event

    Thursday, November 11, 2021 to Friday, November 12, 2021
    • In celebration of COP26 taking place in Glasgow, Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc (MSIP) will hold a Demonstrator and Showcase Event at MSIP on 11 and 12 November.


    • MSIP will transform one of its largest industrial spaces (10,000 m2) into a showcase of the sustainable mobility and decarbonisation industry in Scotland.


    • The programme is now finalised with 30 speakers, 9 workshops, over 40 demonstrators and exhibitors, and an indoor and outdoor test track showcasing sustainable mobility options big and small. The anticipated audience is 400 each day.

    Scottish Business Week is a virtual week-long event which BG are running in partnership with SE, SOSE, HIE and SDS. This event is a virtual festival for Scottish businesses of all sizes and across all sectors - offering inspiration, advice and guidance to them as they prepare to build a brighter future. It aims to support businesses with a joined up framework of support

    he Supplier Development Programme will hold the 4th Annual Meet the Buyer North virtually, as a fully online event on Tuesday, 7 September 2021 with headline partner, the Scottish Government.

This is the second year in a row that this event will be held as a virtual event - and 90% of Scottish SMEs and supported businesses were more likely to bid for public sector contracts after attending last year's virtual event.

  • Scottish Enterprise Briefing: Zero Emissions Heavy Duty Vehicles Funding Competition

    Scottish Enterprise are launching a new funding competition to support companies developing innovative technologies that can support the roll-out of zero emissions heavy duty vehicles and Scotland’s green recovery.

    This competition is funded by Transport Scotland and managed by Scottish Enterprise as a national Can Do innovation challenge call, which is open to any eligible organisation in Scotland. 

    Scottish Enterprise will provide 100% grant support for the eligible project costs to allow companies to undertake detailed design and assess the technical and commercial feasibility of their proposed solution over a period of 3-5 months, with projects starting in November 2021 and completing by the end of March 2022. 

    Projects can be focused on the development and commercialisation of innovative whole vehicle or sub-system technology solutions. 

    CeeD are running a briefing workshop on this funding call, in conjunction with Scottish Enterprise.
